Hello there. I’m Megan. I make websites, craft things, and blog about my cats and cat stuff. I live with my boyfriend Chris and our cats Kudzu, Juniper, Palpatine, and Persephone just outside of Nashville, TN.
Here are some “interesting” tidbits about me:
- I majored in linguistics because I love languages. I’ve studied Latin, French, and Japanese. Unfortunately, I haven’t kept up with them and am no longer very good at any of them.
- Although I spend most of my time indoors in front of a computer, I love the outdoors and like to go hiking, rock climbing, and biking.
- I try to be as environmentally-conscious as possible and am an avid recycler. I think that upcycling is pretty damn cool.
- I like plants but have a really hard time keeping them alive.
- I’m kind of a nerd. My favorite movie, well, movies, are the Star Wars Trilogy and my favorite show is Battlestar Galactica.
- I write with my left hand but do pretty much everything else with my right.
- I have a thing for David Bowie and glam rock in general.
- I love love love to dress up. I love costume parties and Halloween is by far my favorite holiday.
- My second favorite kind of party is a potluck. I’m kind of a foodie.
- I could probably eat Mexican food every day.
- I have a caffiene addiction and drink too much Diet Coke.
- I used to roleplay online, primarily Dragonriders of Pern. (I secretly kinda miss it.)
- My favorite genre of music is classic rock. I love me some Journey, Foreigner, Styx, Rush, Boston, etc.
- I’ve got really bad road rage. I can’t stand bad drivers.
